When you’re rushing out the door and shuffling your kids into the car, it’s easy to forget a few things. However, it’s usually around the time you have everyone in their car seats and you click your seatbelt that you remember exactly what you forgot. Sigh.
Since this scenario has happened to me countless times – usually when I’m already running late – those extra trips running back into the house ma make really late. So to help out in those frazzled and rushed moments for when I forget to grab a few thing, I started using one hack in my garage and it has saved me so much time. The best part, it’s so simple, is super helpful year round and doesn’t take up much space.
Here’s what you do:
- Grab an over the door shoe organizer and hang it in the garage.
- Fill the pockets with items you always need last minute: hair ties, extra socks, change, extra keys, a stain stick, extra bibs, phone chargers, and quick grab snacks.
