Going to the Drive In? Try these tips!

July 9, 2017 by amushro

One event that needs to be at the top of your summer bucket list is to take your family to a drive in movie this summer. There is nothing like sitting under the stars, enjoying yummy treats, and watching a great movie with your family-now that’s some summer magic. So if you are a drive in novice or an expert, here are a few tips to make your drive in move night a success.    Now here are things you’ll need to consider:
  • Be sure to pack comfy chairs that you can easily fold at the end of the night.
  • Don’t forget blankets. Even though it’s summer, it can still get chilly at night.
  • You can also pile up blankets and pillows in the back of your SUV to make a perfect viewing bed for your family.
  • Don’t forget the bug spray! It can get buggy at night.
  • Dress in comfortable clothes or better yet, dress in your pajamas!
  • Bring a football and a few games to entertain everyone before the movies start.
  • Go early so you can grab concessions and a great spot to park.
  • Most drive ins are double features, so be sure to check the listings and decide if you will stay for both features or just one.
